Waiter – A person who attends clients in a restaurant and brings the food and drinks they order
Funny – can mean humorous or also peculiar/strange.
To laugh – The sound you make when you find something funny.
The Joke
Customer: Waiter! This soup tastes funny.
Waiter: Then why aren’t you laughing?
Why is it funny?
The customer is complaining that there is something wrong with the taste of his soup but the waited has responded as if the customer had said that the soup is humorous.
